Yammer, a social network giant, acquired by Microsoft is now available for use on Office 365. You can use Yammer as a replacement for NewsFeeds in SharePoint Online.This feature is available for E (Enterprise) plans only.

To get the feature, do the following:

1. Log into Office 365 Administration Portal and then go to SharePoint Online Administration Portal.


2. Click on Settings present in the left hand bottom corner


3. Once clicked, in the Enterprise Social Collaboration section choose “Use Yammer.com service”. This update might take up to 30 minutes to complete.


4. Scroll down and click OK. You will be taken back to the SharePoint Online Administration Page.

5. Click on Newsfeed and after couple of seconds, you will see the below screen.
